IMPORTANT NOTICE

This website/app is operated by, or on behalf of Store2Door Cargo LLC for providing the services of freight transport and management. By using the website/app you agree to comply with and be bound by the following “Terms and Conditions”.

We reserve the right to amend these “Terms and Conditions” from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The terms & conditions shall apply to all the shipments irrespective of any consideration to the size, volume and country of shipment or country of ultimate destination for all the services provided by Store2Door. Deviations from these terms & conditions shall not apply unless agreed specifically in writing by Store2Door.

REGISTRATION OF THE CUSTOMER

Where a customer intends to avail the services of Store2Door, the customer requires registration on our website/app (Whichever is applicable) providing all the information accurately required in this regard.

CONDITIONS FOR THE REGISTRATION

i. Customer must be Major under the laws of applicable jurisdiction to create an account on our website/app to avail our services.
ii. All the personal details you put on our website/App for the registration to avail our services must be true, accurate, complete and current. In case of change Customer must update on their account promptly.
iii. Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the account login and password created on Store2Door website/App. In case anyone else uses your account, all the services availed shall be deemed to have been made by the customer or an agent of the customer and the customer will be responsible for using such services. If a customer believes someone has, without his/her authorization, accessed the account on Store2Door website/app, please intimate Store2Door immediately.

EFFECT OF REGISTRATION

Customer registration on Store2Door website/app constitutes a legally binding contract between the "Customer" and "Store2Door". If you do not agree to these “Terms and Conditions”, you do not have the right to access or use the services of Store2Door.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Store2Door provides the following independent and consolidated services to its customers:

  • Domestic and International delivery:
    Store2Door provides the services of collecting /picking-up the goods/shipment of its customers from the provided pick up location in the U.A.E. and manage its delivery till the final location anywhere within U.A.E. and outside U.A.E.
  • Packing of Goods/Shipment:
    Store2Door provides packing services for the goods/shipment if required by the customer according to accepted international standards.
  • Warehousing Services:
    Store2Door provides for the necessary warehousing services of the goods/shipment collected on behalf of the customer upon request. The customer gets a standard 7 day free storage in Store2Door warehouse from the first item/package has checked in.
  • Consolidation of the Goods/Shipment:
    Store2Door provides services for the collection of cargo from various locations in the UAE and then consolidates all the goods in their warehouse as per the request of the customer.
  • Air / Sea / Courier / Land Freight Forwarding:
    Store2Door provides the freight services of moving the goods/shipment by various modes i.e. Air / Sea / Courier / Land as per the mode selected by the customer for their goods. It provides delivery services upto the port and upto the customer’s door, whichever the customer selects.
  • Insurance for the Goods:
    i. Upon the request of the Customer, Store2Door provides services of Insurance of the goods/shipments through Insurance company or their brokers and acts as an intermediary only on behalf of the customer. Please go through the Insurance Terms & Conditions displayed on the HOME PAGE next to the Insurance section displayed for complete information.
    ii. The insurance coverage offered on the website/app is only for the new goods. If the customer wishes to insure the old/used goods then he/she must send an email at info@store2door.ae with the complete description of the items, weight and value to determine if it can be insured.

PAYMENT TO THE SERVICE PROVIDER

i. The customer shall pay Store2Door through it’s Online Payment Gateway or Cash or as otherwise agreed all sums immediately when due without reduction or deferment on account of any claim, counterclaim or set-off.
ii. The payment will have to be made in UAE Dirhams (AED) only. The payment can be made through Master Card/Visa Card or Cash.
iii. The order will be picked up upon confirming the booking; however, the shipment will be executed (Custom cleared and shipped out) only after the payment is made in full.
iv. The customer can make an advance payment against each booking which will be adjusted with the final invoice amount.
v. In respect of all the money which is overdue, the customer shall be liable to pay to Store2Door interest calculated at 2% per month on the balance amount due which is applicable in case of a delay.
vi. In case the customer has made the payment and afterwards cancelled the shipment, the amount paid by the customer shall be refunded as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the cancellation policy.

PAYMENT CONFIRMATION TO THE CUSTOMER

Store2Door will send confirmation of receipt of payment to the customer by email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Upon Registration on Store2Door Website/App to avail the services, the customer shall be responsible for providing the following accurate information:
ii. Accurate description and weight of the goods/articles in respect of which he intends to avail the services of Store2Door.
iii. Specify any fragile item with special handling instructions that may be required. In case of failure of stating the fragile item, any amount of loss or damage will be fully on customer’s account.
iv. Upload the purchase invoice copy with the photograph of the item on Store2Door website in case of new purchase. For old & used items, the itemized description, value and quantity of the goods is required.
v. Accurate address of pick-up location and the delivery location.
vi. Correct selection of the mode of transit of goods/articles (by Air/Sea/Road/Land).
vii. Correct selection of the method of payment and timely payment.
viii. Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules
ix. If the credit card used doesn’t belong to the customer, we may ask for the credit card holder’s authorization for security purposes.
x. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her account

SERVICE PROVIDER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Once the customer provides the Store2Door necessary information and makes the payment, Store2Door shall be responsible for the following:
ii. Store2Door shall perform its duties with reasonable degree of care, diligence, skill and judgment.
iii. Providing independent freight service only or Add-On services like Packing/Storage/Insurance services to the customer as requested and subject to additional cost.
iv. Assess the correct weight & dimensions of the goods/articles as provided by the customer before transporting to the ultimate destination.
v. In case of any discrepancy in the weight or dimension of the goods/articles from the one provided by the customer, Store2Door shall update the corrections and immediately inform the customer by email or on their website. The Weight & Dimensions taken in Store2Door nominated warehouse will be considered final and correct. If customer disputes the discrepancy in the weight and dimension of the goods/shipment, the discrepancy can be verified by the customer by personally going to Store2Door warehouse before the shipment is set in transit.
vi. Store2Door may open or inspect a shipment without notifying the customer for safety, security, customs or other regulatory reasons. If any item in the goods/shipment is found which is prohibited as per the General Prohibited List or as per the Origin/Destination country rules, then Store2Door has all the rights to remove these goods from the shipment and keep the customer informed.
vii. Transporting the goods/shipment as per the mode (Air/Sea/Land/Courier) selected by the customer to the ultimate destination within the agreed time subject to the customs approval and release at the Origin/Destination and for any unforeseen circumstances which is beyond Store2Door control/Force Majure.

MIS-DECLARATION OF GOODS:

The customer agrees to provide accurate information on the description of goods to Store2Door. In the event the customer wrongly declares the goods intentionally or unintentionally, Store2Door will not be held responsible for the consequences resulting from mis-declaration. In such an event, the customer will be solely accountable for any delay and penalty that may be applicable.

PROHIBITED GOODS

The shipment should not contain any goods prohibited under the laws of the country of origin of shipment, the laws of country of ultimate destination, the international laws governing the transport of goods by road, sea, air & courier. At the booking stage the customer must sign an undertaking by accepting the terms & conditions for the goods/shipment in respect Store2Door is providing services do not contain any of the prohibited goods. The prohibited goods include but not limited to the following goods:-

i. Explosives/ Guns / Ammunition/ Weaponry etc.
ii. Counterfeit Goods.
iii. Perishable Items / Food Items.
iv. Any Items in Liquids or Powder Form.
v. Loose batteries.
vi. Animals/Birds/ Wildlife Products.
vii. Any Plants & Plant Material.
viii. Lottery Tickets / Gambling Devices
ix. Pornographic Films or Obscene Material.
x. Drugs.
xi. Medicines.
xii. Jewellery / Currency/ Bullion / gem stones.
xiii. Hazardous Waste/Material.
xiv. Precious Metals.
xv. Human remains.
xvi. Ivory.
xvii. Goods Categorized as Dangerous by IATA (International Air Transport Association).
xviii. Any items Restricted as per individual country Regulations.

PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION GATHERED BY Store2Door. This is Store2Door’s online privacy policy. This policy applies only to activities Store2Door engages in on its website and does not apply to Store2Door’s activities that are "offline" or unrelated to the website.

i. Store2Door collects certain anonymous data regarding the usage of the website. This information does not personally identify users, by itself or in combination with other information, and is gathered to improve the performance of the website. The anonymous data collected by the Store2Door website can include information such as the type of browser you are using, and the length of the visit to the website. You may also be asked to provide personally identifiable information on the STORE2DOOR website, which may include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This information can be gathered when feedback or e-mails are sent to STORE2DOOR, when you register for services, or make purchases through the website. In all such cases you have the option of providing us with personally identifiable information.
ii. USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION: Except as otherwise stated below, we do not sell, trade or rent your personally identifiable information collected on the site to others. The information collected by our site is used to process orders, to keep you informed about your order status, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you, and for statistical purposes for improving our site. We will disclose your Delivery information to third parties for order tracking purposes or process your check or money order, as appropriate, fill your order, improve the functionality of our site, perform statistical and data analyses deliver your order and deliver promotional emails to you from us. For example, we must release your mailing address information and contact number to the delivery service to deliver products that you ordered.
iii. All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties
iv. COOKIES: Cookies are small bits of data cached in a user’s browser. STORE2DOOR utilizes cookies to determine whether or not you have visited the home page in the past. However, no other user information is gathered.
v. STORE2DOOR may use non-personal "aggregated data" to enhance the operation of our website, or analyze interest in the areas of our website. Additionally, if you provide STORE2DOOR with content for publishing or feedback, we may publish your user name or other identifying data with your permission.
vi. STORE2DOOR may also disclose personally identifiable information in order to respond to a subpoena, court order or other such request. STORE2DOOR may also provide such personally identifiable information in response to law enforcement agencies request or as otherwise required by law. Your personally identifiable information may be provided to a party if STORE2DOOR files for bankruptcy, or there is a transfer of the assets or ownership of STORE2DOOR in connection with proposed or consummated corporate reorganizations, such as mergers or acquisitions.
vii. SECURITY: STORE2DOOR takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, STORE2DOOR cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.
viii. OTHER WEBSITES: STORE2DOOR is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. We strongly suggest you review such third party’s privacy policies before providing any data to them. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties. Please be aware that our sites may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. The information practices of those Web sites linked to our site is not covered by this Policy. These other sites may send their own cookies or clear GIFs to users, collect data or solicit personally identifiable information. We cannot control this collection of information. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.
ix. MINORS: STORE2DOOR does not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 18. Minors are not permitted to use the STORE2DOOR website or services, and STORE2DOOR requests that minors under the age of 18 not submit any personal information to the website. Since information regarding minors under the age of 18 is not collected, STORE2DOOR does not knowingly distribute personal information regarding minors under the age of 18.
x. CORRECTIONS AND UPDATES. If you wish to modify or update any information STORE2DOOR has received, please contact info@store2door.ae .
xi. MODIFICATIONS OF THE PRIVACY POLICY OF STORE2DOOR: The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions would be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the Customers are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

USE OF SERVICE OF THIRD PARTIES

The customer hereby expressly authorizes Store2Door to procure all or any required services of third party (To act as its agent or sub-contractor) to Store2Door to the customer as principal and enter into contracts on behalf of the customer for the:

i. Carriage of goods by any route or means or person from the place of shipment to the ultimate destination,
ii. Storage, packing, trans-shipment, loading, unloading or handling of the goods by any person at any place and for any length of time,
iii. Carriage or storage of goods in warehouse or during the transport with other goods of whatever nature, and to do such acts as may be in the opinion of the Store2Door reasonably necessary in the performance of its obligations in the interests of the customer.

MODE OF CARRIAGE

In every case where a service is requested to Store2Door by the customer; however, if the mode of carriage selected by the customer is suspended, cannot be accepted by the carrier due to any reason unknown at the time of placing the booking or temporarily stopped due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Store2Door, the Service Provider should provide alternate mode to transport the goods and keep the customer informed and move the same after confirmation by the customer. The difference in freight due to change of mode should either be collected from the customer or returned to the customer, whichever is applicable.

PACKING REQUIREMENT

Packing is the responsibility of the customer. This means if the items are not in seaworthy/airworthy packing then Store2Door Cargo LLC reserves the right to refuse shipping of your packages which will result in cancelation (Please refer to the cancelation/refund policy)

LIEN ON GOODS

i. The Service Provider shall have general lien on all the goods and documents relating to goods in its custody against all the sums due at any time from the customer and is entitled to retain them unless the sum due is paid or settled.
ii. In case the goods remain in custody of Store2Door for more than three months and the customer does not come forward to claim the goods/shipment, then Store2Door shall have the right to either sell them to cover the cost of storage and handling for that time span or destroy them completely to avoid further losses.

INDEMNIFICATION

The customer agrees to hold the Store2Door harmless and indemnified against:

i. Every liability, loss, damage, costs and expenses whatsoever (including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, all duties, taxes, impost, levies, deposits and outlays of whatsoever nature levied by any authority in relation to the goods) arising out of Store2Door’s action taken in accordance with the Customer’s instructions or arising from any breach by the Customer of any condition contained herein,
ii. Without prejudice to the above-mentioned any liability assumed or incurred by the Store2Door while carrying out Customer’s instructions and as a result of which Store2Door has reasonably become liable or may become liable to any other party,
iii. All claims, costs and demands whatsoever and by whomsoever made in excess of the liability of the Store2Door under these terms and conditions regardless of whether such claims, costs and demands arise from or in connection with the negligence or breach of duty of the Store2Door, its servants, sub-contractors or agents, any other claim of general nature made against the Service Provider.
iv. The transit time from origin to destination mentioned on the website are only estimates outlined on the basic shipping process. Store2Door will not be responsible for any loss or inconvenience that may arise due to the delay in shipping of your packages.

CUSTOMER’S LIABILITY IN CASE OF CANCELLATION OF SHIPMENT

In case, where upon the request of the customer, Store2Door collects the goods from the premises notified by the customer and the customer later for any reason whatsoever cancels the shipment, the customer shall be liable to pay the charges for transport, shipment handling and warehouse storage charges as applicable at that time to Store2Door

CUSTOMER’S LIABILITY FOR THE FAILURE TO RECEIVE GOODS

i. In case the customer fails or acts negligently, delays or refuses to receive the goods or any part thereof, at the time and place when and where Store2Door was requested to deliver the goods, Store2Door shall be entitled to store the goods or any part thereof at the sole risk of the customer, whereupon the liability of Store2Door in respect of such goods or that part thereof shall wholly cease and the cost of such storage shall accrue in favor of the customer. Also, the Insurance Policy will cease to exist if the customer fails to receive the goods immediately after the shipment is cleared from the customs.
ii. In case the goods remain in custody of Store2Door for more than three months and the customer does not come forward to claim the goods/shipment, then Store2Door shall have the right to either sell them to cover the cost of storage and handling for that time span or destroy them completely to avoid further losses

STORAGE OF GOODS/SHIPMENT IN WAREHOUSE

Where the goods/shipment have been collected by Store2Door from the point of shipment and the goods are held in the warehouse on the request of the customer, the customer shall be liable to pay the charges for the storage of the goods/shipment in the warehouse and goods/shipment handling charges if the storage of the goods/shipment last more than 7 days.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER

Store2Door maximum liability for any loss or damage caused to the goods will be as follows: -

i. AED 500/- per shipment or the actual value of goods whichever is less for all International Shipments going out of UAE by any mode of transport.
ii. AED 100/- per shipment or the actual value of goods whichever is less for Domestic Shipments within UAE by any modes of transport.

Store2Door shall have no liability for any loss or damage caused to the goods and shall not be held liable to the extent that such loss or damage is caused by

i. Strike, lock-out, stoppage or restraint of labor, the consequences of which the service provider is unable to avoid by the exercise of reasonable diligence.
ii. Any cause or event which the Store2Door is and the consequences whereof the service provider is unable to prevent by the exercise of reasonable diligence.
iii. Except under special arrangements previously made in writing the Company accepts no responsibility for departure or arrival dates of goods

INSURANCE

i. Without prejudice to the afore-mentioned, Store2Door agrees on request of the customer to arrange insurance on their behalf. Store2Door acts solely as facilitator for the customer to arrange such insurance and does so subject to the limits of liability contained herein. Please go through the Insurance Terms & Conditions displayed in the Home page in the Insurance Terms & Conditions section. The Terms & Conditions are laid by AXA Insurance Company and Store2Door does not have the right to make any amendments to it whatsoever.
ii. The insurance offered as an “Add On” service is through AXA Insurance Company and the terms and conditions agreed upon is between AXA Insurance company and the customer. Store2Door is in no way responsible for the claims denial and exceptions from the insurance company.
iii. Certain countries may not be covered by the insurance company which are mentioned on our website/app. In such cases, the customer may have to find an insurance company on their own and get their cargo/shipment insured.
iv. No insurance will be affected except upon express instructions given in writing by the customer and is confirmed and accepted by Store2Door or through the “ADD ON” section in the website/ App and all insurances affected by Store2Door are subject to the usual exceptions and conditions of the policies of insurance company or underwriters taking the risk.
v. In case the Customer does not give any instruction to effect the insurance by selecting the “ADD ON” option or in writing, the cargo will not be insured and Store2door will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

INSURANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS ON BEHALF OF AXA INSURANCE COMPANY

Subject Matter Insured: Household and Personal effects EXCLUDING: Furs, Cash, bank notes, stamps, deeds, tickets, travellers’ cheques, jewelry, watches and similar valuable articles, foodstuff, alcoholic beverages, coins and other collections of similar nature. Hereafter declared and valued by the assured but subject to the valuation clause, as attached.

Declared and valued at current market value at destinations and subject to valuation clause. a. Voyage(s): i. Voyage I – From: United Arab Emirates To: World Excluding: C.I.S Countries, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Israel and Syria absolutely. Continent of Africa – South Africa, Egypt, Morocco Tunisia covered upto final destination - Other countries upto no risk after discharge at destination port / airport. ii. Voyage II - Within GCC by Road iii. Voyage III - Within UAE by Road

Sanction Limitation and Exclusion Clause: i. As per wording below Under no circumstances shall this insurance contract be deemed to provide cover and no liability be incurred to pay any claim or provide any benefit hereunder to the extent that the provision of such cover, payment of such claim or provision of such benefit would expose insurers to any sanction, prohibition, or restriction under United Nations resolutions or the trade or economic sanctions, laws or regulations of the European Union, United Kingdom or United States of America or any other applicable trade or economic sanctions, laws or regulations.
ii. For any shipment to / from UN Sanctioned Countries, prior intimation to be sent to underwriters for specific approval with additional information as may be required from time to time, prior to attachment of risk / commencement of transit.
iii. Other voyages held covered on rates and conditions to be agreed prior to attachment of risk.

Conveyance(s): Vessel and/or vessels (as per Institute Classification Clause) and/or airfreight and/or Road conveyance

Valuation Limit of Shipments: LIMIT ANY ONE SHIPMENT Household Goods – Dh. 1,000,000/- LIMIT ANY ONE LOCATION Household Goods – Dh. 1,000,000/-

Clauses: Household goods and personal effects full conditions- All risks (Professionally packed or store packed cargo only) Institute Cargo Clauses (A) CI.382 1.1.09, as attached Institute Cargo Clauses (Air Cargo) CI.387 1.1.09, as attached Land Transit Clauses (All Risks), as attached

Transit Clause: Cover hereunder attaches from the time representatives of Store 2 door picks up the packing, doing packing, moving the goods into their warehouse or collecting van, during the local transit, including any incidental storage in their own or rented warehouse prior to loading into a nominated vessels or shipment by Air or by Road and terminates when the goods are delivered to the customer or their agent at destination. The cover is limited of the physical loss of or damage to the goods belongs to the Insured.

Notice of Claim: To be provided as soon as possible within reasonable time since cargo is normally unpacked by Store 2 Door or their agents at destination any losses would be discovered immediately. In other cases, we would require that claims are reported to us within 15 days of termination of risk under the policy. Claim procedures as attached

Storage Cover: Provided goods are in a secure warehouse premises cover includes storage for upto 30 days from arrival at packer`s / forwarder`s premises in the country of origin and a further 30 days from arrival at the premises of the agent of packer`s / forwarder`s at destination.

Valuation Clause: In case sum insured hereunder in respect of any article or articles being less than the present-day market value at destination then, in the event of loss of or damage the amount recoverable by the Assured, inclusive of reconditioning charges and replacement costs, shall be in every case only such proportion as the sum insured bears to the market value at destination.

Replacement Clause: In the event of loss or damage to any part of an insured item the basis of a claim settlement will be the appropriate cost of repairs or replacement of such part that the insured value bears to the current market value of the items involved plus charges for refitting.In the event of loss or damage to any part of an insured item the basis of a claim settlement will be the appropriate cost of repairs or replacement of such part that the insured value bears to the current market value of the items involved plus charges for refitting.

Pairs and Sets Clause: Where an insured item consists of articles in a pair or set the policy will only pay the value of any particular part which may be lost or damaged or the proportionate value of such part, without reference to any special value such article may have as part of such pair or set.

Antiques Clause: In the event of damage to antique items insured hereunder, liability is restricted to the reasonable cost of repairs and no claim is recoverable in respect of depreciation. In no case shall liability hereunder for such repairs exceed the sum insured in respect of the damaged article

Exchange Rate: Exchange rate prevailing as of the date of signing of proposal by the Insured. Warranties:
i. Warranted brand new goods only.
ii. All items being shipped are declared for insurance at current market value at destination.
iii. Shipped under deck except for containerized goods.
iv. No single article to exceed USD 10,000/- unless agreed by Underwriters prior to attachment of risk.
v. Claims for non-delivery to be supported by appropriate documentary evidence.
vi. All items subject to proof of value in the event of a claim.
vii. Fragile items not to exceed 15% of sum insured or held covered at a marine premium rate of 3% on the value of shipment.
viii. Warranted filled up proposal to be submitted to underwriter prior to attachment of risk.

EXCLUSIONS:
i. Rust, Oxidation or Discoloration of any items unless caused by direct contact with seawater/Rainwater.
ii. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic derangement unless due to an insured peril.
iii. Loss or damage due to moth, vermin, wear, tear and gradual deterioration.
iv. Consequential loss or expense of whatsoever description.
v. Loss or damage to furs, cash, bank notes, stamps, deeds, tickets, travellers cheques, jewelry, watches and similar valuable articles, foodstuffs, alcoholic beverages, coins and other collections of a similar nature.
vi. Loss or damage due to climatic or atmospheric conditions or extremes of temperature.
vii. Confiscation or detention by customs or other Authorities or caused by delay.

Excess:
AED 500/- each and every loss for shipments more than AED 1000/-
AED 250/- each and every loss for shipments less than AED 1000/-

Sanctioned Country List:
Below please find the list of UN sanction countries which need compliance approval prior to shipment:
i. Cuba
ii. Iran
iii. Sudan

CUSTOM CLEARANCE

Store2Door shall provide customs clearance services to the customer through our appointed customs brokers or vendors subject to the customs clearance regulations in the country of export and in the country of import

Note: The Duty and Taxes if any at the destination country to be paid by the customer at the destination to our appointed agent at actuals before delivery of goods.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS

Port Delivery:
Port Delivery means the shipment will be delivered only up to the airport/seaport. The customs clearance and delivery at the destination is not included the scope of work
a. Inclusions:
i. Collection of goods from the store/any place at origin.
ii. Customs clearance at origin
iii. Transportation of goods to the destination port through one of the transport modes (Air/Sea/Land)

b. Exclusions:
i. Destination airlines/Shipping lines charges
ii. Destination customs clearance
iii. Destination transportation from the port to the destination
iv. Customs duty and taxes
v. Shuttle services (In cases where there is no accessibility for trucks to reach the residence)
vi. Handy man services
vii. Long walk (Where the distance from the offloading point to the customer’s residence is very long)
viii. Stair carry (In cases where the delivery is above 1st floor and there is no lift/elevator or cargo does not fit in the lift)
Note: All Charges in the exclusions but not limited and which are applicable must be paid to the relevant service providers at the destination by the customer.

Door Delivery:
In this service, the cargo is delivered to the final address of the customer at the destination
a. Inclusions:
i. Collection of goods from the store/Any place at origin.
ii. Customs clearance at origin
iii. Transportation of goods to the destination port through one of the transport modes (Air/Sea/Land)
iv. Destination Airlines/Shipping lines charges
v. Destination customs clearance
vi. Destination transportation from the port to the final destination
b. Exclusions:
i. Customs Duty and Taxes
ii. Demurrage & Storage Charges
iii. Shuttle services – (In cases where there is no accessibility for trucks up to the residence)
iv. Handy man services
v. Long walk (Where the distance from the offloading point to the customer’s residence is very long)
vi. Stair Carry (In cases where the delivery is Above 1st Floor and there is No Lift or Cargo does not fit in the Lift)
vii. Debris Removal/ Unpacking
viii. Over time Charges related to weekend Deliveries or outside regular working hours

Note: All Charges in the Exclusions but not limited and which are applicable must be paid to the relevant service providers at the destination by the customer before delivery of goods

LAND TRANSPORT TO GCC & MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES:

I. GCC Standard Inclusions:
a. Origin Inclusions:
i. Collection from origin location.
ii. Loading into truck/trailer.
iii. Transportation from UAE to Final Destination Country.
iv. Borders customs clearance fees.

b. Destination Inclusions:
i. Offloading at client’s residence.
ii. Unpacking of boxes on the flat surface (No arrangement in drawer/cabinet etc…)
iii. Unwrapping of furniture items.
iv. Set up of basic furniture & removing of debris on the same day of delivery.

II. GCC Standard Exclusions:
a. Exclusions at Borders:
i. Duty &Taxes
ii. Truck/Trailer halt charges, if any; for instance, border congestion or any type of delay at border.
iii. The customer gets only 2 days free detention after truck reaches at border.

b. Exclusions at Destination:
i. Storage in transit, truck detention, placement of items into cupboards/shelves etc…
ii. Reassembly of flatpack/new/IKEA/complicated furniture.
iii. Handyman services like carpenter/plumber/painter/maid services/cleaning/repairing services etc…
iv. Wall fixing of units/curtains/TV/frames/paintings/lights etc…
v. Stair carry above 1st floor level, difficult/long carry/shuttle service, heavy lift carry, parking permits and such associated charges, handling of any heavy items like safe, pianos, billiard tables and the like, delivery to more than one address or split delivery

III. Guidelines for Restricted/Dutiable Goods For All GCC Countries:
a. Duties could be applied as follows or will be charged At Actuals:
i. Electrical / electronic appliances - 5%
ii. Audiotapes, videotapes, CDs / DVDs - 5%
iii. Furniture - 15%
iv. Books and used clothing (Reasonable quantities are exempt from duty payments)
v. Other Items: 5% or at actuals.

b. Restricted Items:
The following items are subject to censorship, confiscation, or may result in penalties to the owner of the goods:
i. Pornographic films or obscene material in prints, slides, records, books, magazines, pictures, photos, other printed matters, personal computers, audio/video CDs, diskettes, USBs, computer hard disks, printers, mobile or cellular phones, audio/video VHS/VCR/cassette tapes etc.
ii. Any items that store obscene material, a penalty will be charged to the consignee for CDs, VCR tapes and books confiscated after the censorship. (Approx. US$ 150.00 each for CDs and VCR tapes; and US$ 20.00 each for books or at actuals)
Note: If items subject to censorship are contained in the shipment, Customs Authority will remove them from the container for censorship or review. To reduce the time for clearance, these items must be packed separately for easy access and cartons must be marked clearly on the inventory. The delivery of censored articles may incur additional charges; contact Store2Door for additional information.

IV. PROHIBITED ITEMS:
i. Games of chance (Gambling paraphernalia) including chess sets, dice, backgammon and the likes.
ii. Animal skins in commercial quantities.
iii. Weapons and firearms (Real or ornamental, antiques, etc.) including guns, ammunition, fireworks, spears, etc. (If imported, the owner of the goods will be subject to investigation that may result in fines and/or prison)
iv. Military uniforms or military equipment of any kind.
v. Alcoholic beverages or food products containing alcohol such as vanilla, flavoring extract, cooking wines, etc.
vi. Books, wine making kits, or other items used in the preparation or manufacture of alcoholic drinks and beverages.
vii. Narcotics and unidentified medicines.
viii. Radio transmitter or communication equipment / devices (including receivers, VHF, Marine / police bands or walkie-talkies).
ix. Stuffed animals (products of taxidermy), statues, figurines, carving or objects depicting human or animal forms.
x. Pornographic materials and literature, including fashion magazines with people wearing underwear or swimsuits.
xi. Any foodstuffs containing pork and related pork meat products, etc.
xii. Any books pertaining to religions other than Islam

a. SAUDI ARABIA:

iv. Court letter (Waqala/Authorization letter) – Original (Waqala is an authorization letter in which customer will authorize our clearance agent at border to clear the shipment on his/her behalf)
v. Expats needs to provide UAE Visa page + Emirates ID Copy along with above docs.

b. BAHRAIN:
Shipper & Consignee Details:
i. Contact Details - Email & Phone Number of consignee.
ii. Passport copy + Bahrain Visa copy
iii. Bahrain ID copy (Front & Back Side)
iv. Expats needs to provide UAE Visa page + Emirates ID Copy along with above docs.

c. OMAN:
Shipper & Consignee Details:
i. Contact Details - Email & Phone Number
ii. Passport copy + Oman Visa copy
iii. Oman ID copy (Front & Back Side)
iv. Import Code (customer need to visit nearby immigration center to obtain the same) NOC letter (Will be provided by Store2Door Once Import Code from customer side is in hand. A scanned copy of NOC is required from customer side after printing NOC on company letterhead with signatory signature along with the stamp.)
v. Expats needs to provide UAE Visa page + Emirates ID Copy along with above docs

d. KUWAIT:
Shipper & Consignee Details:
i. Contact Details - Email & Phone Number
ii. Passport copy + Kuwait Visa copy
iii. Kuwait ID copy (Front & Back Side)
iv. Customer need to present at customs office for signing of customs formalities
v. Expats needs to provide UAE Visa page + Emirates ID Copy along with above docs

e. JORDAN:
Shipper & Consignee Details:

ii. Passport copy + Jordan Visa copy
iii. Jordan ID copy (Front & Back Side)
iv. Passport copy with visa page. Customer need to be present in Amman customs office to sign customs formalities
v. Client need to be Jordanian nationality to get an Exemption from Customs Duties. if not he/she need to pay duties as per the actual. Client need to be stayed more than 2 years outside Jordan to get Exemption from Customs Duties
vi. In case of absence of shipper at destination at the time of clearance, an authorization letter on court paper from Jordan Embassy or Consulate is required and normal custom duty will apply
vii. Expats needs to provide UAE Visa page + Emirates ID Copy along with above docs

DISCLAIMER

i. Store2Door shall not provide any services to the customers having Nationalities declared “Restricted Nationalities” by the U.A.E. Govt. from time to time.
ii. Store2Door shall not provide any services to any customer intending services in the countries Declared “Hostile” by the U.A.E. Govt. from time to time.
iii. Store2Door will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

SEVERABILITY:

If any provision contained or referred to in the Transport Bill or term or condition contained herein contradicts with the Law of the land, government regulations, orders, or requirements of regulatory authority governing the mode of transport selected by the Customer, such provision shall remain applicable to the extent that it is not overridden thereby and the invalidity of any such provision shall not affect any other part hereof.

GOVERNING LAW:

The Store2Door terms & conditions of services shall be governed by and subject to the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to the choice-of- law rules.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

“Store2Door” and the “Customer” agree that any claim or dispute arising from the or in connection with this contract, whether under the Federal Law, State Law, Local Law, International Conventions and Regulations, shall be brought exclusively before the Courts of UAE.

CODE OF ETHICS AND BUSINESS CONDUCT:

Store2Door is committed to conducting operations with the highest standards of business conduct and ethics and thereby expects all vendors and agents to act within the spirit of our code of ethics and business conduct in order to maintain an on-going business relationship.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

i. Full Refund If the shipment is cancelled within 06 hours from the time of booking, Store2Door will refund the full amount deducting only the bank charges if any and refund will be made onto the Original Mode of Payments. Please allow for upto 45 days for the refund transfer to be completed.
ii. Partial Refund If the shipment is cancelled after 06 hours from the time of booking, Store2Door will refund partial amount deducting the Pick up charges, the Storage Charges, the Handling In and Out charges, Store2Door Fees and any bank charges if any and refund will be made onto the Original Mode of Payments. Please allow for upto 45 days for the refund transfer to be completed.
iii. No Refund If the shipment is cancelled after 12 hours from the time of booking and the shipment has been dispatched to the port for customs clearance, then Store2Door will not provide any cancellation charges as the shipment has been executed.

REFUNDS

Refunds (Full or Part) will be made for only those shipments which fall in the cancellation eligibility policy. The Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payments.

i. In case, where upon the request of customer, Store2Door collects the goods from the premises notified by the customer and the customer later for any reason whatsoever cancels the shipment, the customer shall be liable to pay the charges for local transport, shipment handling charges, warehousing and storage charges as applicable at that time to Store2Door.
ii. If any payment has been collected in advance against the shipment, in those cases the above charges mentioned for cancellation will be deducted along with the bank transfer charges and only the remaining payment will be refunded to the client.

QUOTATION / PRICING POLICY

i. Freight is calculated and charged to you based on the actual weight or volume weight, whichever is higher. The weight and dimensions taken in our warehouse will be considered as final.
ii. The freight & Add On service prices which appear on the Store2Door website/app at the time of booking are current rates and are valid for a period of 7 days.
iii. The Freight & Add On service prices which appear on the website/app are non-negotiable.
iv. The quotation is subject to change,
a. If the actual weight and volume increases or decreases respectively.
b. If the Mode/Service/Destination of Transportation is changed.
c. If any Add On services are opted for at a later stage.
d. If there are any changes in the Add On services selected.
v. For shipments considered Heavy or Oversized, the standard rates appearing on the website/app will not be applicable. A separate customized quotation will be sent to the customer by mail for additional labor.
a. Domestic shipments: If a single piece weighs more than 35 kgs or is over-sized (Length + Width + Height in cms is greater than 250 cms) or if any one side is greater than 150 cms, there will be additional labor charges. The cost of per laborer and the number of laborers required will be decided on case to case basis depending upon the actual weight and dimensions.
b. International shipments: If a single piece weighs more than 35 kgs or is over-sized (Length + Width + Height in cms is greater than 250 cms) or if any one side is greater than 150 cms , there will be additional labor charges. For shipments only upto the port, the cost per laborer and the number of laborers required will be decided on case to case basis. The labor cost at the destination will be informed to the customer after checking with our destination partners.
vi. For Fragile shipments the standard rates appearing on the website/app will not be applicable. A separate customized quotation will be sent to the customer by mail.
vii. The inquiries for which the rates does on appear on the website/app , a customized quotation will be sent to the customer by mail.
